Working with Kayla was such a pleasure. She really makes you feel confident behind the lens and makes the whole experience feel candid and fun. I have a husband who goes along with my photoshoot shenanigans but he even said to me after the shoot that he's never had that much fun getting photos done. That being said, Kayla has a way of making things feel genuine and authentic, so the shots she captures portrays that. I have been following Kayla's work for a year or two now. When I finally got the opportunity to have her as a photographer, it felt like a dream come true. She was great at communicating before the scheduled date, brainstorm ideas & outfits.
Got the photoshoot scheduled. It was something like "first date kind of nervous" feeling because she is so talented and I was really nervous since I am not used to that kind of experience.
When I met Kayla, she removed all the insecurities I was feeling. She was so kind, patient and supportive. Had no idea what to expect and she went along with the crazy idea I had. I thought "it will be a regular pregnancy photoshoot". I expected nothing, she delivered everything. Much, much more than I could've thought.
